Late September to October
Fall Color Tours
The St. Croix valley in October is the reason people move here, and the bluffs read completely differently from the water than they do from a road. No traffic, no parking, no crowd at the overlook — just the river and the color.
Four or eight hours, cabin heated, restroom aboard. Bring a thermos and a camera. Peak color moves around by a week or two each year, so it is worth asking Jamison when he thinks it will turn.
- 4 or 8 hours
- Up to 6 guests
- Heated cabin
- Restroom aboard
Good for
- Anniversaries, birthdays and milestone days
- Visiting family who have never seen the valley
- Photographers who want the bluffs from the water
- Anyone who finds the overlooks too crowded in October
Fall color tours have a group minimum — Jamison will confirm the details when you call. October dates go early.
